Clients and Emails

Practice Tip: Don't copy or bcc clients on emails to opposing counsel or opposing parties. Often the clients will read the email and be moved to respond, using "reply all." It is highly likely that the client's response will NOT be one you want the opposing side to read.

Better to email the opposing side, then forward that email to your clients. No need to worry about an email sent by the clients using "reply all."
